Numeric thanks CEO Sibonelo Nongcula for her service.

With mixed emotions, we announce the departure of Sibonelo Nongcula from her role as Numeric’s CEO. After three dedicated years in this position, Sibonelo officially concluded her tenure on Friday, July 8, 2024.

Sibonelo joined the Numeric team in 2016 as a Program Manager and subsequently took on various roles within the company before assuming the CEO position in 2021. Under her leadership, Numeric has forged a clear vision for the future. Sibonelo has been instrumental in launching our 2-Year After-School Maths Program, enhancing our Teaching Internship, and establishing the Coach Alumni Program.

Reflecting on her time at Numeric, Sibonelo shared, “I remain adamant that to solve the maths education crisis in South Africa, the focus should be training the next generation of Primary School Mathematics teachers. Numeric has proven this works.”

While we deeply regret losing Sibonelo’s valuable contributions to our organization, we are excited to see what the future holds for her. Numeric sincerely thanks Sibonelo for her hard work and dedication throughout her time with us. We wish her continued success and happiness in her future endeavours.
